Welcome to my world of documentary photography! Nice to meet you, I’m Aline, the heart and soul behind Van Geyt Photography, and this is my story.
Born in Mexico and raised amidst a backdrop of different countries, my camera was my faithful companion throughout our travels. From the laughter of my sisters to the smiles of friends and the beauty of the places we explored, I was always there to preserve those cherished moments.
It was at the age of 15, marking the pivotal quinceañera celebration, that my parents gifted me my first professional camera. This marked the official beginning of my brand and my life’s calling.
Starting small, I embarked on my photographic journey, capturing the stories of friends, family, and neighbors. However, my passion for photography could not be contained within the borders of Costa Rica alone. I took a bold step, moving to Madrid to pursue my dream and delve deeper into the art of photography. In 2018, I proudly graduated, armed with knowledge and a burning desire to share my vision with the world.
